Beaver Scouts
Beaver Scouts are the most junior members of our group. They age from 6 - 8 years of age and the Beaver Scout programme is designed to meet the needs of the young people in this age group. Their programme is based around fun and learning, this is done through co-operation and teamwork.
Bishopstown Beavers meet on Monday nights between 5.30 and 6.45 in the scout hall. For directions or information on joining Beaver Scouts click here .
Cub Scouts
Cub Scouting a fun programme for young people aged 9 - 11 years of age. The Cub Scout programme is designed to allow the members to grow and learn together through games, play, crafts and outdoor activities. Cub Scout sections are split up into 'sixes' which is a group of up to six Cub Scouts. The most experienced members of a six are leaders, called 'sixers'. This provides older Cub Scouts with a chance to experience leadership and allows them to teach the younger members of the section.

Scouts
The Scout Section is aimed at young people aged between 12 and 15. Scouts take part in a wide range of activities both during the weekly meetings and during events outside of the meetings also. Both outdoor activities such as mountain climbing and camping other activities such as pioneering and first aid are explored through the scout programme. The scout meetings are designed to allow the Scouts to have an input into deciding many of the elements of their own programme.

Venture Scouts
Bishopstown Venture group is aimed at the oldest members of the group as we currently do not have a Rover section. The age range for this section is 15 to 17 years of age. Many of the Venture group activities and events are focused on outdoor activities such as mountaineering, camping and other adventure activities.
